Hayat Kimya to invests $330 Million in Pakistan

Hayat Kimya is a world renowned FMCG company and is worlds 5th largest branded baby diapers and tissue manufacturer in Eastern Europe, Africa and Middle East.

The company has planned to make 9th largest investment in Pakistan by planning to spend $330 million initially to kick start the project for which a 100-acre land has been acquired to install an ultra-modern manufacturing plant.

Hayat Kimya has started to work at the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) and will be introducing some of its home country brands like Molfix baby diapers, Papia and Famalia toilet tissues, facial tissues, paper towels and detergent category as introductory products and will further announce other products later in the years.

Hayat Holdings consists of 41 companies that operate in many different industries such as construction, wood and energy, FMCG and port operations. The parent company manufactures 39 different brands in 29 plants around the globe which are sold in more than 100 countries and has around 17,000 employees all around world. The company is actively operating in Iran, Morocco, Turkey, Russia, Algerentry of Hayat Kimya in pakistania, Bulgaria and Nigeria where it has a strong export system.

Hayat Kimya Holding has approximately an annual turnover of $3 billion from all its operations and has planned to launch its products in mid-2020 in Pakistan.

The company has decided to operate on high performing machinery in Pakistan to lower the cost of production and also maintain high quality standard. According to a survey, the company feels Pakistan has a huge potential as an emerging market and this investment can be beneficial for both the countries i.e Pakistan & Turkey, considering the friendly relations. It will generate a large pool of employment opportunities for Pakistanis and will also lead to various investments in relevant sectors later on in the future.
